•rememBear was founded by Blair Schermerhorn (’09) while taking an Advanced Entrepreneurship course in our entrepreneurship program. She wanted to create a handcrafted product from recycled materials. After conducting a lot of research, Blair realized that there was a huge opportunity to meet the needs of the bereaved by creating handcrafted, personal memorial keepsakes. Her company will supplement her income while she completes graduate school at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
