Casey Tyler Smith, MEP® (Finance, 00C) is the owner of Wiser Wealth Management. Casey earned a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Finance from Berry College, Rome, Georgia and his NASD Series 7 and 66 while employed with AXA Advisor's. Casey became a Registered Investment Advisor and formed CT Smith Financial Services in June 2001 and, four years later, partnered with Wiser Financial Services, Inc to provide investment advice, financial planning services, tax preparation and estate planning to individuals. In 2004 Casey earned the designation Master of Estate Preservation (MEP®) from the Henry W Abts, III, Estate Plan School. On January 2nd, 2007 CT Smith Financial Services, Inc purchased Wiser Financial Services. Casey assumed the role as lead advisor and business owner. In March of 2008 Wiser Financial changed it's name to Wiser Wealth Management in order to better represent its services offered. Wiser Wealth does not sell any products, and unlike a bank or brokerage house they have a fiduciary responsibility to look out for their client’s best interest. Their investing philosophy is to keep cost low, maintain a diversified portfolio, and always invest for the long term. They accomplish these objectives by investing in the global markets using broad and sector based index funds. The firm also will hedge their portfolio’s using advanced option trading techniques during volatile times. Their investment advice incorporates tax and estate planning knowledge.
