Lowell Pratt (Music Business and Spanish, '08) interned with the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce while still a student at Berry College to learn more about economic development. Little did he know that he would find a new career! After participating in our entrepreneurship program and graduating, Lowell joined the Chamber in a newly created position, Small Business Development Coordinator. Through his work on the Chamber team, Floyd County was designated an "Entrepreneur Friendly" community by the state of Georgia. Lowell works very closely with budding entrepreneurs showing them how to get their businesses started and working with them through the development process. He is also working with an angel investors network in Northwest Georgia. Lowell supports the Berry Entrepreneurship program by serving as a guest speaker and a student resource.
